As a passionate media studies student, I aim to blend theory and practice, presenting innovative projects that reflect my growth and dedication in the field of media and communication.

Purpose

I hold a passion for movies and music, in fact, the combination of both. I am greatly inspired by the creative capabilities that can result from combining the image with sound. A sense of rhythm which extends beyond the screen and reaches an emotionally driven desire to create or hop on the ship. I am interested in taking advantage of current-day meduims and production technology for creative expression

Projects of Media Studies and Computational Art

Light Trails Animation Project:

This project explores the creation of a visually engaging animation on light trails. Originally intended to represent the speed and flow of traffic, the trails were generated using a particle system linked to spheres, each providing its own color and emission. The process involved overcoming creative and technical challenges that ultimately shaped the final outcome.

Animated Cubes

This project combines animation in Blender with generative sound design in SuperCollider. Through experimentation, the focus was on creating abstract visuals paired with dynamic audio to explore the interplay between movement and sound. The visuals were developed using Blender’s animation tools, while SuperCollider provided a platform for crafting responsive, layered soundscapes.

P5.js Creative Coding

Early on in my media studies program, we experimented with creative coding using a web editor called p5.js. This project builds on that experience, creating a flow field a system of vectors that produces dynamic and interactive visuals.
